After a few shows, Sam and crew had worked out th bugs on a new truck, and were looking to expand their fleet of racing trucks. Sam was driving the entire winter season, as Ronnie took a much needed vacation. Sam had finished the contract with the "Digger Bus" and wanted to sell it. It was then that as fate would have it, Mike west (West Coast Bad Boyz) had a colleague interested in the "Kool Bus". So through a twist of fate, Sam traded Mike West the "Kool Bus" For Mikes second and last race truck "Nasty".

In March 1999, Sam and crew acquired "Nasty" and prepared it for a season of racing. The re-tooling of the second monster truck was moderate. Flushing lines, replacing padding and re-painting the chasis was necessary. Soon, the crew wanted to re-name the truck without messing up the existing graphics. So, through a Bar-B-Que conversation, a new name was chosen. The first race for the truck in competition was in san Bernardino, CA., it was then that the new and improved "Nasty Boy", returned to the sport. The name was chosen for an initial idea of crewmembers swaping driving duties, every other weekend. However, that practically became impossible.

Ronnie took over driving duties of "Nasty Boy" full time and continues to be the youngest proffesional Monster Truck driver on the racing circuit.

In June 1999, Sam and Ronnie began construction on the newest ride truck "Monster Zone Shuttle". "Zone..." is a concept of what the future holds for monster truck rides. No bodies, full rollcages, and a true thrill ride is what the fans want. "Monster Zone Shuttle" is able to bring the future of Monster Truck Thrill Rides to fans, across the country.

Sturges Monster Trucks remains to be one of the most proffesional teams on the west coast. Unsurpassed performance, charasmatic drivers and a commitment to spectator satisfaction is what keeps "Unnamed & Untamed", "Nasty Boy" and the "Monster Zone Shuttle" one of America's favorite teams.
